Check Ballot Season is Over

And Reading Season has officially begun. Not that you couldn't have started reading already.

Anyway, we had a total of 526 approved nominations. Only 8 authors did not respond to our requests for approval. Only 3-4 authors declined approval outright. A couple of others declined approval on individual stories.

I think that's pretty good for our first year!

Now it's time to just sit back and read the nominated stories. And comment on them--on the hard drive! Save the comments for Voting Season. I think I've got nearly a dozen ready to go already. But only for shorter stories. Now we've got 2 1/2 months so we should be able to read some of the long ones as well.
